I can find many humbucker sized P90's, but not many P90 sized
humbuckers which is what I am looking for. I am looking for a direct
replacement for a Gibson P90. Can anyone point me to some. Thanks.

The FIA outlawed them in 2004.

Sorry, mate.

SORRY WRONG GROUP! MY NEWSREADER IS ACTING CRAZY AND KEEPS GOING BACK
TO THIS GROUP ON IT'S OWN!
IF ANYONE HAS THE ANSWER...THAT'S OK TOO.
Just to keep it on topic...I am a Ferarri fan and glad to see Kimi win
in such easy fashion...BUT it was a boring race. I guess Hamilton is
not going to have the easy cakewalk that many expected this year.
Maybe he'll be there at the end...we shall see.

I've always had great results with Seymour Duncan's products. You might
find something you like:

When I was in highschool Seymour let us jam in his warehouse in Santa
Barbara. He's a great guy.

Buy some DiMarzio's mate. Founded by Lawrence P. DiMarzio. A fine
Italian (American) company like Ferrari.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/DiMarzio

DiMarzio DP210 is a P90 sized humbucker.

http://shop.donsmusiccity.com/c-136-humbuckers.aspx

Great names like David Gilmour (Pink Floyd) use DiMarzio's on their
axes but not that anti-American prat Roger Waters (who cannot sing
anymore anyway). Sod off Rog. Syd and Rick Wright were more Floyd
than you are. You treated Gilmour and Wright shabbily you nasty
wanker.

Signed Freddie who is hoping (American-born) Boris kicks Red Ken's
arse in the London election tomorrow. F*ck off Ken.

Sorry... I stopped reading after you referred to your guitar as an
"axe". After that there's no way I could take anything you say
seriously.

Actually, I have found plenty since I've posted this and YES I am
leaning towards the Dimarzio's...not sure which ones yet though.
Thanks.

www.gak.co.uk - they handle almost all types of pickups, good service, good
advice.

A friend gave me a pair of SD '59 humbuckers last year, and they made my
battered old axe sound awesome, so I'm biased, but SD are sweeeeeeet.

Lots of other good makes though, so do some research (granny, eggs.....)

I've got a Hamer with an SD 59 in the neck position...always loved
these pickups.
