A good free day out in exchange for them knowing your name & address.
I'd say it was a fair exchange!

They don't spam me. Just send me one email a year with a link to free
tickets. I've been to the Renault series at Donington several times
using the free tickets, and a very good day out it is, too.

Looking forward to Silverstone...

Don't be put off, it's excellent. Really, nothing is better than live
motorsport you don't have to pay for. But if it's sunny, leave very
early, it's hugely popular, although getting to Silverstone ought to be
easier than getting to Donington - maybe that's one of the reasons why
it's moved.

Hi, I applied for some tickets, and noting that it only allows upto four
tickets per application, and since there are five in our family, I
applied for three in my name, which was fine, then two in my wife's
name, using the same address and email addy so as not to appear to be
trying to be clever, which was also fine, but it only let the missus
have one ticket :-).

So, if anyone accidentally orders one ticket too many for their needs, I
would be more than happy to take it off their hands!

I'll order a couple through Julia's address, so if you email me your
address I'll post them to you when they arrive.

That's very kind Paul, thank-you!

In previous times they have started out allowing people 4 tickets, then
sent emails offering more tickets. Last time I asked for 4 tickets and
got 8, although that might have just been an administrative mistake (I
could only use 4 in any case). My friends usually apply for 4 tickets
each to make sure we're swimming in tickets by the event, then
everyone's covered. I'd be surprised if they didn't always send out more
tickets than the capacity of Donington, on the grounds that some tickets
always go unused.
