Formula One seems troubled

Lots of different things going on this season and none of them are good.
Half of the races are run on rubbish courses and half of the teams are in
disarray. These cannot be good developments.

The writing is clearly on the wall - F1 will drop in popularity and
NASCAR will expand into Europe and become one of the largest sports there...

I beg to differ with that. Only Americans can stomach four hour long
contests with two hours of adverts. Nobody likes American sports other than
Americans. Americans do not care who wins the big cricket match and the
rest of you lot do not care if Alamaba defeats Auburn.

Everybody knows that Formula One is simply the marketing arm of Ferrari.
You lot wants to sell Ferraris out of the showroom at the Wynn Casino and
Resort in Las Vegas so you glamorize the Ferrari brand in your make believe
formation races.

Formula Ferrari stopped being a competive sport many years ago. All of the
politics and adverts and marketing have reduced it. That is why nobody pays
any attention these days.

'You lot?' You do realize you are responding to an American, don't you?

Mmmm Hmmm. I suppose you have some solid independent market research
sources to back up that assertion, non?

Formula One has gotten run out of the USA because nobody cares. Now they
are running their overpriced cars in front of barefoot peasants. It do not
believe that that model will last for long.

You lot are just a big bunch of wannabe Americans, aren't you? You could
not even live without our movies and our telly and our music and our blue
jeans.

Let me tell you one thing here. You lot are a bunch of wannabe Americans.
Those of us who have had the good grace to be born in America do not wannabe
anything else.

Your football is quite good but your Formula One is rubbish.

No - it's football. All the other abortions are required to define
themselves with prefixes like rugby, australian rulz, merkin

There is only one *football* and we invented it.

And to distinguish it from Rugby Football whose laws were actually set
down prior to those of Association Football.

No?

Yawn (2) current rulz. There were Cambridge rulz before the FA and no
doubt others before them. Football is older than rugby.

Take your pedants elsewhere.
