Because he's Polish. Nobody takes Pollacks seriously.

But he is very fast. O yes, it is not important in F1.

Because he isn't. He'd need a car that IS ALREADY winning races to be
a contender. BMW MIGHT win A race this year, but it's not that likely.

Brian - you're on!

?1 to a charity of your choice if BMW don't get even 1 win this year,
if you're prepared to reciprocate (in local currency) if they do.

1 Euro ? Next you'll be proposing to set up Kimi as a drug pusher, a
thief and a cheat and put Lewis into a Ferrari, just to see what
happens..

Nope, but I do know 5 lovely ladies in the UK...

Well I didn't say that BMW won't win this season, just that IMO it's
unlikely - barring something that takes out all four Ferraris/McLarens.

I'm not prepared to gamble on it though.

It's not impossible that Kubica might get pole at Monaco, and a win should
be easy from there.

Yeah. He had real chance there but not only BMW will play light game
there.

Monaco's not a real race anyway. Take away the fancy background, the Yachts
and the celebrities and all you have is the 1990 Iceberg US grand prix in
Phoenix, but with a few thousand more attendees who probably know as much
about F1 as their counterparts.

This doesn't mean that people don't rate him. Just look at the "Race
Predictions Turkey" thread.
