Was a GP ever shortened by the time limit?

They came really close one time last year, but I think they finished
it. That was the first I heard of a time limit. How many times did
they shorten the race because of the time limit?

I can't answer your question fully, but I think a wet Monaco GP sometime in
the 90s got to the limit, or came very close..

Both apparently finished several laps early due to the 2 hour rule.

Has there been another finish without any pitstops in modern races? Mika
Salo finished 5th in that 1997 race without pitting once.

Spain 1974
Monaco 1975/96/97
Brazil 1981
Canada 1981
USA-Dallas 1984
USA 1991

In the 'fifties some were stopped after 3 hours.

France 1952
Swiss 1952/53/54
Argentina 1953/54/55/56/57 [scheduled for 3 hours]
Monaco 1956

There may be others. I recall doing more detailed research a month or so
back - wonder what I did with it?
