US.....last night they played Gran prix 1966 and The Green Helmet.

Gran Prix notes:
at one of the races, the winner takes a victory lap with the car and
girls on the back of a truck. I liked that idea.
I never realized Monza had an underpass, I really liked the footage from
that race, and the description of the track. basically saying that on
the banked corners, the suspension was already used up from the force
and that made them feel even more of the bumps.

The Green Helmet 1961

Mille Miglia I had never heard of this race, and they call me a race
fan.
I wish they didn't speed up the footage of the cars.

I didn't watch all of these, I am a chronic channel flipper.

The movie to see you won't have heard of is "Checkpoint". It is filmed
around the 1956 Mille Miglia. It has footage of the race and it is in
color. I searched for a copy for years till I finally got one from a
fellow who lived only 20 miles away.
