F1: Ferrari Making Engine Horsepower Gains Despite Freeze ?

"under the pretext of reliability problems"

Funny that, I don't remember them having reliability problems with
their engines...until they improved them.

Rather makes a nonsense of the Engine Freeze and again opens the FIA to
attack if these rumours are true.

Larini (Ferrari 1994):
"I had a problem with the traction control"

Michael Schumacher, (Ferrari 2001):
"We came that close to the optimum in terms of engine management
that there wasn't much difference to real traction control"

Larini? Impossible.

Ferrari has never employed an Italian driver to race since the late, great
Michale Alboretto. And that was over 20 years-ago.

Oh! I get it.

Nick (Nicolah) Larini was a test driver.

No you still didn't get it...Larini had two races for Ferrari in 1994.

Apart from Gianni Morbidelli, Ivan Capelli and Nicola Larini, you
mean?

Oh, and that's "Michele Alboreto", by the way.

Yes Mark, but you do have a prejuice.

When was your first F1 race in the flesh? Ferrari in Montreal in 1995?

Get real! You're a rookie.

Who knows...but after scrutineering at a race weekend in 1994 (Imola
IIRC) it most certainly was not allowed to run with traction control.

And Kubica was recently told you use his boost to pass button.

Just because you speak fluent fuckwit doesn't mean you'd do as well
with Italian or Polish.

My Italian is passable but lets hear from the FIA about it...you can be
sure that any team using illegal driver aids would be severely
punished.:

President Max Mosley at a FIA press conference on September 9 1994 at
the Monza race track:

"Q. Jochen Mass: There are still suggestions that Ferrari's car at Aida
was illegal, and they got off too lightly. Can you comment?

Mosley: We think that the Ferrari device was illegal."

Running with illegal driver aids! blimey I bet the punishment from the
FIA for most teams would have been extreme....
...but since it was Ferrari they were let them off with a stern look.

It's truly astounding, in light of the astronomical volumes of
bullshit that you hurl against the walls in your "noble" efforts for
"truth and justice", that absolutely none of it ever sticks.

Heh heh...OK a quick recap:
Ferrari blatantly cheat by running traction control during a (one of
many) season when its banned (1994)
Their race driver Larini slips up in a press conference at the San
Marino GP when explaining his qualifying at the previous Pacific GP
saying that " He had a problem with the traction control".
The FIA president is specifically asked about Ferrari running Traction
control by Mass and Mosley categorically states that:
"We think that the Ferrari device was illegal."
Yet no action was taken.
Its not made up, it happened and was comprehensively recorded.

It doesn't matter how hard you try to divert attention by bleating on
about McLaren, everyone knows that Ferrari are the masters of cheating
and always have been.

Peter

German Grand Prix (1980).
Ferrari personnel spent the entire night in the Williams garage
wielding their tape measures and taking photographs of the car.

Larini (Ferrari 1994):
"I had a problem with the traction control"

Todt to Fontana (Jerez 1997)
"?By strict order of Ferrari, Villeneuve must be held up if you come
across him on the track"

Mika Salo (Ferrari 1999):
"When I was driving for Ferrari we always spied on McLaren"

Michael Schumacher, (Ferrari 2001):
"We came that close to the optimum in terms of engine management
that there wasn't much difference to real traction control"

Ferrari (Australian GP 2007)
Win the first race of the season with an illegal flexi-floor.

Nigel Stepney (2007)
"Do you think (chief designer) Nicolas Tombazis came to Ferrari
from Mclaren without something in his mind? The new Ferrari front
end aero came from McLaren.
