Lardboy's favourite driver let's a rival teams car past so that he can
deny more points from his team-mate. Fucking brilliant.

What's brilliant is your ignorance. Massa and Raikkonen have equal status.
May the best one win.

I've been as cynical as the rest in my time, but I have never seen
anything to suggest that Massa has not been given an absolutely equal
chance with Kimi to go for the title, until it was crystal clear that
only Kimi had a realistic shot at the title.

This year it remains pretty equal between them at the moment. I still
expect Kimi to come out ahead. But I do not believe that Ferrari will
engineer that result. Kimi will have to earn it, or Massa will have to
lose it.

Past evidence would suggest Ferrari would engineer the result at the drop of
the hat, they did not need to engineer wins for MS in the past but they did
so why not now.

Because Kimi is sufficiently confident in his own ability that he does
not require it.

Probably not. It is unlikely that one team will ever dominate for so
long a period again; or that they will give all their effort to one
driver; or that any one driver will guess correctly which is the best
car to be in often enough.

But there is every chance that Kimi will be remembered as a greater
driver than MS, winning championships in cars that are less dominant and
without a team-mate being required to support him.

Because Kimi Raikkonen isn't the selfish paranoid manipulative dickhead
that Michael Schumacher was.

I have no doubt they do have equal status, and will continue to do so
for the remainder of the first half of the season (or until PM catches
up with KR in the WDC, whichever comes first).
