McLaren strategy

A couple of questions: one regarding Lewis and one on Heikki

Lewis first: Bridgestone has said that they noticed a structural
issue with Lewis's tyres after Friday practice, and McLaren have said
this is why they 3 stopped him. Yet it seems (to me at least) that he
qualified on the fuel for a 2 stopper. If so, this seems like a late
change in strategy.

Heikki: he came in for a stop on around lap 26. The fuel timing
caption said that he was fueled to the end but the team knew he would
have to stop again to change on to the soft tyres. When he did stop
again the also fueled him up. I was wondering if the caption was
wrong, but it was a very long stop (of 9 - 10 seconds).

Any thoughts, comments or answers regarding the above?

He qualified on 3 stop fuel.

The caption is a guesstimate based on the approximated time the fuel
hose was on. I wouldn't rely on it.

In fact if you look at the fueling nozzle and the timer, you will see
how badly it's done. It *might* be accurate within +/-.5 seconds at
best.

What do you care to discuss regarding Australia 2007?

...McLaren's mole at Ferrari, perhaps?

Could you *be* any more of a tedious fuck these days? At least Sweeney
was funny, albeit inadvertently.
