Woo hoo! By 'eck I enjoyed that. Fantastic race - sorry all the fans got
wet, but I bet they think it was worth it. ;o)

Brilliant drive by Lewis - some brave decisions by the team. Great win,
a real classic.

And how lovely to see Rubens on the podium and hear what a great
reaction he got from the crowd. A genuinely popular guy.

Poor old Mark Webber didn't make the most of his chance... but since it
was Lewis who mostly gained by that at the start I won't be too
hypocritical about wishing it had gone differrently for him. ;o)

Good stuff. :o)

You put it exctly, young Kimbo.

Just to see Ruben's obvious delight was worth the race alone.

And a great answer by Lewis to all his detractors.

Agree totally. All in all a most fantastic sporting day - a cracking
Grand Prix that had me riveted, and followed by a mens final at
Wimbledon that had me rushing backwards and forwards to the kitchen
barely long enough to get dinner cooked. It's not often to get a day
like that. AND the BBC iPlayer kept working for the whole of the tennis,
even if the ITV GP quality looked like it was a kaleidoscope.

Even more astounding, the BBC i-player kept working for the whole of
Doctor Who, which is pretty much a first. ;)

And I remembered to stop and start the ITV live watch a few times in the
ad-breaks, so I didn't get hit by the two-hour limit this time. Phew!

Bro' rang after the race and asked me if the TV coverage had shown the
Ferrari's shannigans... "they spun off about 9 times!", oh yes, I
assured him, the team were keeping track of Massa's score. :o)

And I loved Ross Brawn's "I don't know how Lewis did that."

That gives me more faith about next year when F1 transfers to the
Beeb.
