Notes: The leading teams concentrated on running with heavier fuel loads for
most of the session. Kimi Räikkönen was the only driver to get into the 81s
bracket with the fastest lap of the session set in the last five minutes.
Until then the two Renault drivers had held the top spot, but for the first
40m it was the two Force India cars that were quickest. Heikki Kovalainen
had a gearbox problem and managed only eight laps. Team-mate, Lewis Hamilton,
had a spin on his first run.
