Wow what a Qually session

In Montreal the premium strategy is two stops, however a single or
three stops do not draw a huge penalty. Throw in a safety car at the
right time and any one could be in the running.

Looking at the attitude on LH's car I'm certain he is light, that
together with his propensity to chew up tyres would suggest he is
three stopping. HK on the other hand looked heavy but due to tyres I
doubt he'll go for a single.

RK didn't look light and BMW are not prone to run light, in fact the
opposite. If he is heavy his Q3 time says he has the pace to win, so
if RK is on a one stopper the result may come down to when the SC
arrives. A win would be overdue and well deserved.

Ferrari looked heavy and are usually very kind to the tyres so I
suspect, subject to safety cars, at least one will do single.

FA didn't look light but his time denies anything else. If he can keep
Nico behind at the start, attrition and the SC may see him on the
podium.

NR looks very good as usual, like FA he is in the box seat should luck
go his way.

NH didn't impress again but like Coulthard it must be hard to look
good next to an extraordinary team mate.

Then there are the twin threats of rain and of the track breaking up (if
we get heat again rather than rain).

How long has it been since the last time the first five grid slots held
five different marques?
