I kinda do, but I kinda don't. 'Tis an absolutely wonderful road course
for racing - best in North America, if not the world IMHO. Watching the
DP01 zip nimbly around that circuit was quite a sight. It would be a wee
bit painful in comparison to watch crapwagons lumbering about on it.

The IRL does not deserve to race the hallowed ground that is Road
America.

Especially with those shitty cars.


Besides, how does a meandering, 4 mile long road course fit in with
the "oval traditions of Indy"

When was the last time anyone associated with the IRL used that phrase? I
think it's been beaten to death and it has been obvious for a long time that
the IRL has learned that an all-oval series won't work.

CART killed itself, no doubt. But it was not because of a choice of venues.
The road courses are drawing big numbers, much to TG's chagrin. And come
October they will have four races outside the USA within 12 months.
