NASCAR-TRUCK: Phoenix: Tim Sauter preview
Tim Sauter is out to prove that last weeks top-10 finish at Texas was no
fluke. With just two races remaining in the 2007 NASCAR Craftsman Truck
Series season Sauter and the Green Light Racing team have only a couple
chances to duplicate the preseason goals of consistently finishing near
the top ten. This week should be an excellent opportunity for the #07
team as Sauter has excelled on flat tracks throughout his career.
The Green Light team is hoping to carry the momentum from last weeks
finish in Ft. Worth further west to Phoenix. Momentum has been difficult
to sustain as racing luck has not been kind to Sauter and the #07 team
over the recent weeks as several runs that could have ended in top-tens
that slipped away for one reason or another. Sauter hopes the first
top-ten has broke the ice and the team can continue running towards the
front of the field. "With a little racing luck, we should have a good
shot at getting Lester Buildings another top-ten."
