WRC: Citroen boss Guy Frequelin steps down

Citroen Sports Team Principal Guy Frequelin announced his retirement
today after leading the French marque to three manufacturers' World Rally
Championship titles. The former WRC driver who earn his only victory at
the 1981 Rally Argentina will see out the 2007 season as Frequelin and
the French-based team have one main goal to achieve: Sebastien Loeb's
fourth consecutive WRC crown.
Retiring from the top-level in world rallying in 1987, Frequelin no
doubt will always remember his best season ending is a fantastic battle
with Ari Vatanen. His co-driver in the Talbot Sunbeam Lotus that year was
Jean Todt. The closeness of the 2007 season is quite similar to
1981 when he missed the drivers' title by a mere seven points.
