Stacy Compton, driver of the No. 09 Zaxby's Ford F-150 posted the second fastest time during Thursday's first practice for the Casino Arizona 150 at Phoenix International Raceway. Compton has competed in 13 races this season with one top five and three top-10 finishes.
STACY COMPTON - No. 09 Zaxby's Ford F-150 -YOUR LAST RACE WAS LAS VEGAS AND TONIGHT YOU HAD THE SECOND FASTEST TIME IN FIRST PRACTICE. "Every time we get in this Zaxby's Ford F-150 it's good. I think we can go out and contend for this race. Every time I work with this team, we prove that the team and the driver can compete and run near the top. For me to run a limited amount of races and to run second at Dover earlier this year and we ran well at Vegas. Now we come here to Phoenix and we're running second. Certainly, the weekend is not over. The truck is pretty good and I'm looking forward to running the race tomorrow night."
