You know as well as I do that you don't have to win races to win a
championship, and Mark has been pretty consistent in spite of running for
second tier teams. If you take his point total for his 12 starts and
extrapolate them out to 16 total races, he would be in 11th right now with
1916 points. (1437/12)*16
I have no doubt that if he were to take Mears' place that he would make the
Chase. (Hey, that rhymes!)
