McMurray is the next to go

McMurray is the next to go

I correctly called Mears and now I am calling McMurray.

McMurray is one heck of a nice guy and he does a lot for charity and all of
that but he just cannot compete any better than Mears.

Race cars is a tough game.

I think I agree with you on this one. I have long thought that Jamie
(who like you said is a really decent guy) has long been one of the
most overrated drivers in Sprint. I was surprised when he got that
ride in the first place.

yep... you continue to state the obvious and act as though you're
offering some insight.

FTR, many around here, including me, and most everyone in the media
has been saying Jamie will be out the door for quite some time. I'm
glad you're *finally* catching on.

I must have missed your posts on Mears and McMurray. My bad.

McMurray was 41st at Loudon. I must be a visionary on something.

nah, I am not worthy. We both know that. I am glad to hear that the wonder
kids are perfect. They are like some of the luckiest kids in America to have
Super Mom looking out for them.

Not to go all personal or anything but it was a funny story when some
certain race car driver went on a big old winning streak just about the time
something else happened.

You are triply blessed. Even if triply is not a word your are still triply
blessed.

oh quit it.... no such thing as not being worthy... we're buds, you're
stuck with me.

Yep, it was a funny story, but it was the God's honest truth... the
girls were born and Gordon won the next four races in a row.... and it
didn't go over well with my buddy at all ~ and he offered to put them
back where they came from if the winning didn't stop.

ANYWAY... before it's asked, the answer is NO, I ain't birthin' no
more babies ~ not to help Gordon, not to help Harvick, not even if it
would keep Jamie from losing his ride ~ there will be no more diapers
in my house.... ;)

I wonder about Jamie McMurray. I have been watching a lot of sports for a
long time and I am not sure if I have ever seen anything like that. He
should be good enough by now to hang around the top fifteen or something.

well perhaps that is true, but your prediction didn't work out so well
for you. Apparently Franchitti was the next to go... yeah, I know
Chip says he's hoping to get Dario to run some Nationwide Series
races.... what a consolation prize.

Part of the problem Dario is having is that he came up from the IRL. He
did pretty well when he was in CART / ChampCar, but the IRL cars don't
really pose that much of a driving challenge. He lost his edge and,
well he just couldn't hack it in the big leagues.

Maybe he'll do OK if he goes back to the IRL.

??? oh - you mean the bump & grind style of cars with roofs ?? Where contact
is part of the game and hence racing line isn't an issue ?? LOLOLOL To funny
!

NASCAR, contrary to what you might think, isn't even close to the 'big
leagues' of auto racing.
