Who's the man and who's the weenie?

Who's the man and who's the weenie?

Montoya says:

"He just went wide (in turn 2) like I wasn't even there," said
Montoya, who was relegated to 32nd place. "I got beside him into the
next corner and he starts banging on me, like he was trying to wreck
me.

"I said, 'OK.' I went into the corner and (the caution flag came out
for Bowyer and Hornish), and I slowed down and tried to say, 'What are
you doing?' The next thing that I started to see was that he was
hitting me."

"Yeah," was the short version offered by Montoya when asked if he
intentionally wrecked Busch during the final caution period of the
rain-shortened Lenox Industrial Tools 301 on Sunday.

"He runs good? Yeah. He has great cars? Yeah. I thought we had a
decent car today, and I don't appreciate when people race me like
that."

Translation:
KyB thinks he's God's gift to Nascar. He tried to intimidate
me, but I'll have none of that.

Busch professed to have no idea what Montoya was upset about.

"I got a run on him earlier and I got on the outside and he kind of
kept coming up a little bit," said Busch, who finished 25th and leaves
New Hampshire with a 64-point lead over Jeff Burton. "I didn't turn
down into him and just barely and just barely touched his quarter
panel.

"We came to that caution flag, and he thought he beat me to the
caution flag and I was just trying to get around (Dario Franchitti)
and touched him on the door -- and he just turned left and spun me
down the front straightaway.

"I don't know what his beef is, but obviously NASCAR should probably
fix it."

Translation:
I'm trying to win a race here and JPM wouldn't let me by.
Franchitti wouldn't let me by either.
I touched JPM's door trying to get around DF and JPM spun me out.
I'm telling Nascar on them!

Damn,
Pull your "I hate Kyle Busch" t-shirt from over your head so that you can
see the reality of this situation.
JPM is a spoiled, coddled ex- (cough, cough) champion from the pointy car
world and because of that, feels he deserves some sort of special treatment.
Half of the time he is out of control on the racetrack, the other half he is
pushing, banging & beating the drivers around him. No matter where Montoya
is in a race, he is getting into someone.
Kyle Busch ain't takin' Montoya's crap & apparently Montoya doesn't like it.
But here's something to consider in this situation:
Kyle Busch is the points leader while Montoya is running 20th in points.
Both have a similar attitude toward other drivers when racing against them,
but KB has the benefit of being a far better driver in stock cars.
I love how Montoya reverted into some unintelligible form of Columbian
babble when cornered by the pit reporter as to why he did what he did.
And another thing, isn't it strange that since this incident, we have seen
nothing on replay of any of these supposed numerous incidents where KB is
beating all over JPM's car. With the dozens of cameras recording the race
from practically every conceivable angle, wouldn't you think that at least
ONE of them would have caught KB roughing up Pablito at least ONCE for all
to see?
Perhaps it was because these incidents were nothing more than the close
quarter racing that you see dozens of times in every race at every short
track in Na$car - only JPM took a little "rubbin' " as an affront to his
manhood as he usually does while behind the wheel of his racecar.

Do the same with your "I hate Juan" t-shirt.

Like I said, KyB thinks he is God's gift and everyone
should get out of his way.

Busch's are know for trying to dent-in other cars fenders.

Interesting that on TWIN last night, both the drivers (Biff and Mikey)
said it was a tit-for-tat deal. Nascar didn't see what Kyle did
earlier; he moved up the track and put a big donut on JPM's car. JPM
retaliated. According to those two commenting, both were equally at
fault.

I agree with your assessment Nancy. They replayed it a couple of times
last night on TWIN, and after the T3-4 deal, Kyle's car was clean on
the right door, and then he came and ran into/rubbed Montoya at or
near the S/F line (donut shows up on his right side #18 "all of a
sudden") and then is when Montoya spun him. Honestly, at that point, I
didn't blame him. They got into it, seperated, and then got into it
again...The second contact seemingly was instigated by the 18, but was
finished by the 42.

JPM would've been fine (no penalty) had he taken Busch's route and
played dumb about the whole deal after the race/during the short rain
delay.

Probably so, but I was grinning from ear to ear when he said he did it
on purpose. I recall him pausing when he said it though --- he started
to say it, halted, and then finished it --- like he was going to go
the typical NASCAR route and play it off like an accident. I'm glad he
didn't though. I respect drivers who say what they mean and mean what
they say.

It was a bit of a bummer seeing two of my top three drivers (Tony
being the third, though not necessarily in that order) take each other
out of contention so late in the race, but them's the breaks. At least
it was fun to watch.

10-4 on JPM not going the typical PC driver-speak.
I still say his speech was the reason why N penalized him 2 laps
after the race!

Yup, he should have just said "It was a racin' deal," and walked

I will now be rooting for him because he showed class in being upfront

On SPEED's Victory Lane show after the race, it was revealed that Jimmy
Spencer and Kurt Bush were "dining" together at Michigan! Can you believe
that?!?
