Ganassi quote about Franchitti

Ganassi quote about Franchitti

This is a classic quote from Mr. Loser himself regarding shutting down the #40
team:
"If I keep going I run the risk of dragging the other two teams down. I don't
want to do that," Ganassi told the Associated Press. "There's no money. It
makes no sense to be running this out of my pocket. I had to put a stop to
it."

Really! His 'other' two teams are Montoya (the Colombian drug dealer) and
Sorenson (who has no claim to fame). Has the butt hole Ganassi ever won
anything in cup racing? Or his partner for that matter? I remember he got
lucky and had a competitive driver in Sterling several years back but what
about before or after? I think if your organization has a history of losing,
no championships and year after year of disappointment then you just ought to
shut the whole operation down when you can't find sponsorship. Not to mention
it would be safer for everyone else if the drug dealer lost his ride.

In other words, these other two are costing me a bunch of my money and
they have sponsors. They either don't finish well, crash out, tear up
the car in aggression, and I need to stop the bleeding. I wish I had
two good drivers to run this stuff.

Classic generalization. He (JPM) speaks better English than AMerica's
adopted son, Joonyer.

Anyways .................. Ganassi probably won't be the last to disband
teams for financial reasons.

Not as I recall .......... but Chip did engineer winners in open wheel.

Or his partner for that matter? I remember he got

It may be safer for Kyle Bash ................ but then the rest of the
field will still have to endure the presence of Robby Gordon, Kyle Bash,
Krash MacMurray, .............

Actually, no. And if you've nothing civil, intelligent or diplomatic to add,
then that'll be enough from you.

I never worry about that sort of thing. I treat cyber_space with the "if
you're gonna dish it, you'd best be able to eat it" - because somebody else
will certainly be dishing back at some point. I know I dish it occasionally,
... so I never worry about somebody dishing it back at me. Hell, .. that's
part of the entertainment of cyber_space :>)

I'm sorry about Dario and hope some other team picks him up. I think
he could be real good in Cup if he had more experience in Cup under
his belt. Besides, he's good looking, he has a neat accent, and I
like Ashley, too. ;-)

Quit calling him that, it makes you look juvenile.

Ever hear any of her interviews while Dario was in the IRL?

I would rather beat myself in the head with a hammer then listen to
her blabbing!
