Martin to HMS

Interesting. I suppose Truex will be next in line to leave.

GranPa Martin should stay the fuck retired!
He'll never win a 500 unless NA$CRAP choreographs it.

I don't actually see what a 50 year old Martin brings to the table.
Sure, he has a long career but, I don't think Martin can run a car on
the bubble like KyBusch does, and that appears to be what it takes to
win. The difference between Martin and Busch, many years. KyBusch is
willing to run on that fine edge of control and out of control, Martin
will get no where close to that.

I would much rather have liked to see Truex come over and leave Martin
to care for the DEI museum.

HMS didn't want Kyle Busch.

That is certainly true, but they chose to keep Casey Mears over Kyle, so I
don't see how you can deny that HMS didn't want KyBu.

I agree. But its also hard to know the difference between the
sponsorship packages of KyBu and Mears. Its not like HMS isn't
carefully looking at the dollars.

HMS had to make the decision as to which driver to cut. The bottom line
between KyBu and Mears was probably the bottom line.
