Fair enough, but I think his current stats in a lesser car show that he'll
likely make the Chase next year. He has as many top 5's & 10's as Truex &
Harvick with 5 fewer starts. He's averaging more points per race, too.

Of course - you do realize that I have to work hard to accommodate your
request for a reasonable POV, don't you. You know that I don't care much
for Martin, so my comments on his future are based more on that than they
are on any reasonable POV.

I WILL SAY THIS one more time ..in case you missed my

**** MM will be the DESIGNATED TEST DRIVER *** He will run all
of the races .. and could even win some ...But his biggest value to
the
team is his amazing ability to communicate to the crew chief. TELL
EM what the car needs .. how it is handling etc.
So there you have it and tell where you heard it first
