ya i didn't think about that...theres no way chevy and toyota would
allow MM to drive both. and i don't see red bull switching anytime
soon, they were thinking about it last year, but they seem to be doing
much better now

lol I think he meant all the points races *split* between 2 rides, you
know like 18 races in one car, 18 in another? That is possible...but
unlikely due to sponsor issues I'd imagine. The sponsors pick the
drivers as often or even more so than team owners do today. I won't
even go into the manufacturer conflict. I can't see Chevy or Toyota
allowing 1 driver to part-time between their 2 makes in one series in
one season, but I guess it too is possible.

I'm still wondering how much flack Tony Stewart took from Toyota over
his driving a Chevy in the Prelude to the Dream and having what seemed
like HOURS of footage of him and his crew on TV wearing great big
Chevy-branded uniforms over the course of that evening. It was the
5000lb elephant in the room that night with Kyle Busch and JJ Yeley
(HoF racing driver, a Gibbs/Toyota associated team) both in "Toyota"
badged cars. I think Hamlin's FedEx car that night was also a "Camry".
And there was Tony, dressed out in Bowties. Hmmm. lol
