It's the "not being displayed" part that I'm attending to.
Instead of seeing the message, you see a note that
explains that in keeping with the wishes of the author,
it is not being displayed any more.
I'm not claiming that Google has thrown away its copy.

They seem to be honoring the big-8 control messages still.
I can understand why the Usenet part of Google is less
important than it was when they took over Deja.
Stuff happens and things change. :o)
