Neither did I.
Not until they flashed his name on the screen.
He looks 10 years older.

With Google filtered out, there were 5 posts over there today.
One was spam, and two were from me. :-(

Yeah, I'll grant you the Martinsville clock is about the most
unique trophy in any form of sports.

I'd give the Nashville guitar an honorable mention, too.

Isn't there a shotgun given at one of the races??

It's late and my brain is a little fuzzy right now.

Actually I should not post after good Costa Rican rum. I meant to say
the Monster of the Monster mile at Dover.

To me, the absolute coolest, trophy, is Miles the Monster...
It is REALLY nice.
The Grandfathers' clocks are just "too much" imo...

The Daytona July race is just beautiful...
It is like an overhead view of the track, and it is lighted...
when it is, it look like the lights are on... really really nice....

yes, is very cool, with scale winner's car in the hand, they're building
a 40ft (I think) Miles on the grounds

they are useful if nothing else

Both Daytona trophies are rather "special"

Myself, I'm partial to the Brickyard Trophy and the accompanying silver
brick that goes to the winner

I found this 2006 article that someone else picked as their favorites,
most match ones mentioned here also:

see also what N gives their Whelen Series champ, now "that" is a cup:

Ahhhhhhhh....... That is where the shotgun I remembered comes in. It
is the pole award at Texas.
