One little nitpick. Toyota's tally is actually at four right now, with
three wins for Kyle: Atlanta, Talladega, and of course Darlington.
I rather suspect you're both right about the impact of JGR on Toyota's
efforts this year though. Without them, the wins column would be
considerably thinner by season's end. I do think that Team Red Bull is
fielding a pretty competent driver in the form of Brian Vickers,
although whether he had the ability or the equipment to keep that car
at or near the front of the field for the entire duration of a race is
up for debate. He's in 17th with one 9th and one 5th place finish on
the year, so he's not doing *poorly, just not exceptionally well.
Personally, I'm a bit more curious at the moment as to just how much
longer MWR is going to be able to keep NAPA on board. Michael's
frustration is starting to show through a little more than I think he
and NAPA would prefer, and I have to wonder just how much value is
lost when you're lovable field filler is becoming, well, less
lovable.
