YIPPEE!! Kasey is back!

Congrats to KK for a stellar performance and Kenny Francis for a gutsy call.
Who woulda thunk? Voted in by the fans..... starts in the back of the
pack.... and WINS!

Life is good!

Mike

Congrats to Kasey. That should make the ladies happy too!

I'm amazed that he took no tires and still hung on for the win.

I also appreciated the group of basketball coaches who nailed
"Gentlemen, start your engines" perfectly.

They must have worn their fingers out voting for him :-)

I wonder if running the Open (Showdown, whatever it's called now)
didn't help him there. It might have given him and his team a
little better idea of how the tires would fall off.

It looks to me, too, that 2 tires didn't work well for anyone.
I bet we don't see many 2 tire stops in the 600.

I suspect, as I'm sure others do, that Elliott was voted in, but since
his car got wrecked and he couldn't run the race, it was second-place
KK who got in. They would never say so, but I'm sure with Junior
Nation behind him, it would have gone to Elliott Sadler.

That's not to say that it wasn't great that Kasey got in and he won -
I'm just sayin' ....

N.

(I'm glad Evernham finally got a win ... it's been a long dry spell
for him.)
