Kyle Bush

At the end of last season, Kyle was with HMS, arguably the best team in
NASCAR. (at the time)
When he decided to leave HMS and go to JGR, I thought he was making a HUGE
mistake.
His ESP must work much better than mine.
HMS hasn't even won a cup race yet.
AMAZING !!!!!

Did he jump or was he pushed?

I get the feeling HMS let him go ...

Yep. I'm feeling pretty good about my prediction
that Toyota would win at least 6 races this year.

I neglected to predict them to take the
championship. :o(

Re: Kyle Bush

I personally have wondered if Jeff Gordon is playing the field differently
this year. He has won the chase and not the championship the last few
years, why not try it the other way around this year? I think you will find
that he will do a lot better in the Championship race than he is right now.
I think they are just trying to keep in the top 12 instead of winning all
the races before the Championship really begins.

But you are giving up so much by not winning races....
Those points matter..

Yup, KyBu now has 40 to the good; Edwards can claim only 20 for his 3
wins; JJ has 10 --- those win points really helped JJ at the start of
the Chase last year.

That would be a costly strategy for them. Wins are worth points in the
reset.

Also, if a driver is not trying for the win and just trying to be in the
chase, it's time to hang it up. Yes, I understand that there is a
difference from this and toward the end of a race trying a risky move to win
which could cost you points. But there is no way I see Gordon just coasting
to try and get to the chase.

JJ has one win.

Re: Kyle Bush

I was thinking before the season even started that Kyle would make HMS feel
that they made a big mistake by letting him go.I would of kept kyle and let
Cassy Mears go.

Why do you think HMS thinks they made a big mistake?

I wonder if Hendricks transfered all his stuff to Mears...
