Mid Point Review
Tom has got the ball rolling with a review of his Chase predictions, so I
figgered I'd see where I stood. My top twelve back in January were:
Bower - Now 8th - Attaboy!
Busch, Ku - Now 21st - Awshit!
Kahne - Now 12th - Attaboy!
Newman - Now 14th - Awshit!
Edwards - Now 4th - Attaboy!
Kenseth - Now 16th - Awshit!
Busch, Ky - Now 1st - Attaboy!
Stewart - Now 11th - Attaboy!
Gordon, J - Now 6th - Attaboy
Harvick - Now 10th - Attaboy!
Montoya - Now 17th - Attaboy!
Johnson - Now 7th - Attaboy!
Sooooo, dividing my attaboys by my awshits gives me a batting average of
.666 (uh oh, that ain't a good sign).
In looking at my list, the only (current) non-contenders that are likely to
make it into the top 12 are Kenseth and possibly Newman.
The (current) contenders that are likely to drop out of the top twelve are
Kahne and possibly Harvick.

Your recap cracks me up.
I wouldn't count out Kahne - he appears to have come to life. I'd say
Harvick might drop out sooner than KK, and I don't know that Newman
has a chance at all.
