Jim McKay Calling the games from a new venue

I haven't seen anything about it here, but I figured it should be
mentioned.

Jim McKay died Saturday of natural causes at age 86. He was the voice
of ABC Wide World of Sports and of the Olympics. He was known for
reporting on all types of sports and even covered some NASCAR races in
the early days.

He will be missed.

I spent many happy hours as a kid listening to him.

All time favorite: a day when the Indy 500 was rained
out. They filled the air with conversation for about
three hours, I think, before finally postponing the
race.

It was great TV!
