RPG Loudon I TomS

Lets See... Carpenteir and Bobby Labonte on the first row. Sorenson
and Franchitti in start 6th and 7th. The top Toyota is Allmendinger
in 10th. Juan was fastest in the third practice.... Who knows what
will happen in the race...... It's a shame that I threw away my
crystal ball. It was cracked and chipped and all, but it would have
at least given me an excuse for what could be a bevy of bad picks this
week.

Winner: Ryan Newman. He was decent in practice and 16th isn't that
far back to start.

1. Patrick has qual'ed on time in every race he has attempted this
year and surprised them in practice today, but I don't think he can
hold on to the lead for the whole race. He will however score a top
10.

2. Bobby Labonte will be the highest finishing, non-winning Dodge.

3. Smoke will again be looking for excuses about his run as he
finishes behind Terry Labonte.

4. Rowdy tries to make up for a so-so qualifying run by charging
through the field, but it backfires on him. Rowdy finishes outside
the top 20.

5. All three of the MWR cars finish above 35th, but only Reutimann
will be in the top 20

Segment one total - +14
Segment two points going in - +3

Tom:

If yer interested, I have a good, slightly used crystal ball for sale. It
was owned by a little ol'lady and only used for her Saturday night poker
games. Also, I have this bridge....

Why thank you kindly, Mike. I'll have to consider that closely, as
the only balls I have now are brass.

As for your bridge, we might be able to work out a swap. I've got
some prime ocean front property in Nevada that I'm thinking about
selling.

Well, it is obvious I should have talked to the weather gods and not
the race gods this past weeks. Race rain shortened by 17 laps; field
all jumbled up by a couple of late cautions and what all. Lets see
how bad my results look for this week.

+0 Ran solidly all day, hanging out around the top 10.... finished in
15th

+0 He led the first few laps then started a slow drift backwards. I
never did hear why, but he ends up in 31st two laps down.

+0 Finished a good solid 10th, but the last lap shuffles left Sadler
and Sorenson ahead of him.

+0 Not this week.

+1 A point. Got tangled up with Juan during that late caution and
ended up 25th.

+0 I like Mikey and want to see him and his team successful, but I
wish they would do it in the weeks I don't bet against them. Mikey
finishes 2nd with Reutimann in 19th. McDowell left early with a blown
engine.
