Speaking of Michael McDowell moving to Penske, that might be
another sign of trouble at MWR. UPS is gone, to Childress, and
Aaron's apparently doesn't want to sponsor full-time in Cup.
Even NAPA is rumored to be unhappy.

If McDowell is shopping himself around, is that a sign that
MWR will scale back to 2 cars next year?

Or, perhaps to 1? Today's rumor has Reutimann signed to drive
the #45, replacing Kyle Petty full-time next year.

I'm hoping that last rumor is true - I like Reutimann, I like
the Pettys, and I think he'd be a good fit for that team.

It's time that Kyle retire and put a young driver into the 45. Kyle has
become a backmarker at best. He's got sponsorship though.
