NASCAR Cup drivers on the off-week

Busy bunch - aside from the usual whackers in the Nationwide
race, we had:

Regan Smith winning, and Aric Almirola also present, at Riverside
for the Carquest late models. (not that Riverside, this one is in
Nova Scotia).

Matt Kenseth and Kyle Busch at Iowa for the ASA race.

Kevin Harvick at Oxford Plains (ME), I'm guess for another late
model race?

Shrader, Stewart, Terry Labonte and Dave Blaney (and a host of
Nationwide & CTS guys) for the midweek show at I-55. This will
be an UMP modified race, apparently.

and, in the retired Cup drivers group, G Bodine, Gant, Marlin,
Glotzbach, Speed, Ruttman, Marcis, Ulrich - all in an oldtimers
event at the Nashville fairgrounds (I wonder where DW was - that
was his old stomping grounds, you'd think he'd want to be part
of that show).

Re: NASCAR Cup drivers on the off-week

He's talked a time or two about Stevie not wanting him in the car driving
anymore, and him respecting that given all the years she put up with him
doing it every week. When they first started talking about an old timer's
league I noticed his name wasn't ever mentioned in the list of drivers, and
I just assumed that was why.

Yeah, but he's run Mikey's truck several times at Martinsville,
and the Nashville fairground track isn't any longer or faster
than that. Since that's where his career got started, you'd
think he'd make (or Stevie would make) an exception for that.
