Checking my hometown newspaper (The Knoxville News Sentinel) it says
"When NASCAR checked on the two Chevrolets, officials determined the
brackets on the rear wings had been tampered with in an attempt to
move the wing and create an aerodynamic advantage."
Science I have a slight engineer bent, I am wondering just how they
altered the mounts - elongating the bolt hole comes to mind - and I am
wondering if anyone knows of a webpage where they would explain this
more completely.
