G'day, Frank
My guess would be that if you were to walk around Melbourne
wearing snowshoes in summer, you probably wouldn't increase
your chances of getting your donger into anything worthwhile :-)
AFIK, no specific law requiring that there actually be any snow
present in order to wear snowshoes. After all, it has been known
to snow in Melbourne in winter. See:
http :// www .abc,net .au/melbourne/stories/s1436534.htm
However, as most intelligent people believe that we are
undergoing a period of drastic climatic change, if anyone asks
you could always explain that you like to be prepared for any
eventuality.:-)
Could Melbourne be hit by unprecedented blizzard tomorrow? Of
course, even in science and statistics, nothing is really
"impossible", although it would be extremely unlikely.
Is it "possible" that some reader on this group would suffer a
fatal "heart attack" or "stroke" on reading this post? Only
slightly less unlikely.
What is the chance that some reader on this group might
reply to this reply to you? IMHO, this is more likely. Almost
a dead cert, mate, fair bloody dinkum!
No two human beings are actually "identical" even at birth,
and as they grow older psychological factors become more
apparent.
Perhaps an individuals basic personality is formed as early as
five years of age.
This seems reasonably likely to me, as it is pretty difficult for
most people to actually change their own personality, even if
they wanted to, which they probably wouldn't.
If you actually wanted to increase your chances of getting laid,
you might consider moving to Sydney. A less conservative town
than Melbourne, or so I hear. [I actually haven't been there,
although have lived in other mainland state capitals.]
Anyway, I wish you and the rest of the groups a happy holiday
period, whether they be Christians, Muslims, Jewish, of other
religious affiliations. Will even offer good wishes to the
"agnostics" and "atheists".
After all, there should be at least one week a year where all
humans should be able to exist in a state of peace and harmony.
Those of us lucky enough to be in Australia seem to manage it
O.K., generally speaking, anyway.
