America's test Kitchen: pan roasted potatoes

This past weekend America's Test Kitchen had pan roasted red potatoes,
that were microwaved first.

I can't find the recipe on their websites.

Anyone have it?

Huh. You missed it last week, too. Ever thought maybe you should tape the
show?

Apparently not this person. He relies on us to tell him what was on
television. Kinda reminds me of the old radio days ;)

Why don't you learn to set an alarm clock or your TIVO or something? This
way you don't have to keep asking us what's on television. Whose the
ASSHOLE? Not me. I don't keep missing this show you seem to be so het up
about.

I certainly do - I don't need another piece of stinkin' equipment to
pay rent on every month. LOL.

No they didn't. They had a chicken with potatoes recipe. If you are
going to look for something, look for the right thing.

If it is on the show, the recipe is "free" (you do have to register) at
* americastestkitchen . com . The secret is knowing which episode it
is - they are in their 8th season and finding the recipes does require
some drill down as the recipe might not independent. For example, in
Season 8 there is an episode dealing with chicken. One of the recipes
is Pan-Roasted Chicken with Potatoes which include red potatoes that
have been microwaved to speed up the cooking time.

If you watch it on the tube, you're probably paying for cable or satellite,
which is not free. There isn't much free, anymore. Least of all anything
from Pompous Bowtie Man.

Pompous BowTie Man's show is on PBS. Your local PBS still does over the
air broadcasts, although some are already HD only. If you have cable it
is part of the 'basic' package - The these are the stations you get
before we start charging you for the ones you really want. If you have
satellite, then local costs.
