Before WWII my father was a US Attorney in the Southern District of New
York. He took every opportunity to interview prisoners in Danbury because
the food was so good. They had put NY's leading restaurateur away for tax
evasion and he was running the kitchen at Danbury. I don't think the
federal prison system is as pragmatic today as it was then, certainly
there was no mention of Martha Stewart running the kitchen at Alderson.
