my reviews Effective range on the 81.3 MHz channel was about 2-3 ft,
and on the 85.3 MHz channel the range was around 8 i

nches. Granted, I live in New York City, so there is a lot of
interference, but I still expected to get at least 10 feet between me
and the receiver. Also know that it gives mic level output, so you
need a preamp or microphone input if you are planning to plug it into

daughter could sing karaoke-style through the stereo. Since the box

ired microphone," we assumed that this would be possible. Not so. I
spent a good deal of time trading batteries and testing the product on
two different stereo systems, but was not able to get any volume.
Finally, I called customer service. The guy explained that you cannot
use this product with a stereo. You have to have an amplifier or a
mixer. I'm sending it back; my kid is disappointed and I am
