Industrial Mixer Advise

Am looking for some recommendations, via experience, on a professional
non-hobart but comparative mixer. The 20qt range. Have researched many
brands but have not come across reviews from professionals.

Am familiar with Hobarts.

To be used in an home environment for 100-67% hydrated bread doughs
making 20-22lb batches daily.

Thanks for any help here.

Thunderbird is another brand to check out. Less expensive, seems robust but
no personal experience.

I'm not going to give a review, but I've used the 20 quart Univex. I was
happy. I would have been happier with Hobart.

If what you are saying that you are mixing a heavy dough you are going
to eat up all of the Chinese clone dough mixers They are all gear
driven like the Hobart the Univex is belt driven and you change gears
while the machine is running but the gear driven models you must stop
the machine while changing gears and that is one of the big problems
that you have with the Hobart and its clones The help gets in a hurry
and you have a problem but you can get parts easy for a Hobart and a
lot of people service them including my company I would buy a used
Hobart mixer before i would buy any thing else new
