Sanyo Rice Cooker w/steamer
Rice cooker worked great! But the steamer went on strike! Followed
directions, took forever to do carrots sliced 1/4".
Help, hints, ideas, etc anybody?

Here is what I 'always' do with carrots: I cut them to the size I
want, and lay them on top of the water in the rice container. They
seem to be perfect everytime, laying right on top of the rice, ready
to be plucked out.
