Stonemark granite - 15 years guarantee - no sealing needed - NOT SPAM!

Wayne Boatwright answered:
I remember that thread. Do they guarantee the 10 year finish? I did have
granite on a small island once. It was wonderful for working dough,
rolling pastry, and candymaking.

Benefits of Stonemark with Permashield protection:

The first granite countertop brand backed by a 15-year limited warranty
against staining and for material integrity, Maintenance free granite, No
sealing needed.

From the research I've done, they only sell THROUGH Home Depot; HD takes the
money, Stonemark does everything else.

Hope this may be useful to anyone searching for a granite install. I think
I'm going to have to go with it -- if I chose granite and I probably will.

Don't let sealing the granite scare you. It's really easy - just give it
a good cleaning and wipe the sealant on. We do it once every 2 years and
our 8 year old granite island looks like new.

Be SURE to see the actual granite slab that you will get. Do not rely on
seeing a sample and then trusting that yours will look the same. Natural
granite is so variable!

Granite is a great material for countertops. It's gorgeous (if you get
the right granite) and almost indestructable.
