If you believe JBL's own specs (linked to on that ad), yes:
Power Output 2600 Watts RMS x 2 channels at 4 ohms
and ? 1%THD+N
8110 Watts RMS x 1 channel at 4 ohms,
14.4V supply and ? 1%THD+N
7400 Watts RMS x 1 channel at 1 ohm,
14.4V supply and ? 1%THD+N

I think Bob Wald needs of these to power a MTX Jackhammer. Assuming JBL
isn't lying, it should put out a tad bit more on the RMS side than his
Sherwood amp does.
