Up for auction we have a Vintage McItosh MC-240 .
This is a TOP OF THE LINE tube amplifier, in this type of equipment.
This unit is in very good cosmetic shape. Some oxidation to the metal
screws which hold the connecters for speakers, but the chrome is very
clean with just some very minor oxidation between the transformers and
the tubes ( Will more than likely polish off) . A little of the
lettering, which was done in black over the chrome, has came off the
back, and the tube cage is missing which can be picked up on ebay.
This is its major cosmetic flaw. All the lettering on the front of the
amp is still there.
I am presuming that it works, but do not know how it should be hooked
up to be tested. . Right now, all tubes light up and become warm when
powered up.
Due to the weight shipping on this item shipping cost will have to be
figured after the sale. Please do not check out untill we get your
shipping total .

OK PEOPLE AFTER AN HOUR OR 2 OF PLAYING WITH THIS MACHINE WE CAN
FINALLY SAY THAT WE HAVE HOOKED IT UP TO SPEAKERS WITH AN EIGHT TRACK
AND GOT AWSOME SOUND OUT OF THIS MACHINE!!!!! BOTH CHANNELS WORK
GREAT !! WE STILL DO NOT KNOW HOW TO WORK ALL THE FEATURES ON THIS
ITEM BUT WE WE HAVE FIGURED OUT THE BASICS!! WE STILL HAVE NO CLUE HOW
TO GET A TUNER THROUGH IT.
Also We did have to replace one tube in this machine tube # 12BH7 With
a new one but you will get the original with this auction also. Thanks
