Reddem myself? I'm looking for valid reasons that we needed to spend
$200 billion to develop and field 200 of one aircraft type. You
offered on far-fetched scenario. As I said, let's for the moment
assume that your scenario is valid.
What other cold-war scenarios can you offer? Is "trying to avert a
military solution" worth $200 billion for one type of aircraft,
fielded in small numbers?

I'm with you, 2pid: one simulation (put on by people with a vested
interest in the outcome) that showed a Mig-29 possibly out-manuevering
an F-15 in one area justifies the expenditure and renders the F-15
obsolete. LOL!
