Inserts on the RNP

Hi,
A very stupid question :)

Since the inserts on the RNP are not made like I'm used to (one in,
one out separated but one In/Out), how do I send a signal to a device
that has an input and a separated output?

I don't know if I'm clear enough...

Thanks.

You use an insert cable with a balanced 1/4 phone connector on one end
that splits out to two mono 1/4 phone cables wired so the tip of the
balanced cable is wired to the tip of one of the mono cables and the
"ring" (middle) of the balanced cable is wired to the tip of the other
mono cable. They share grounds so you just split the ground and wire
it to both grounds of the mono cables. Or, you can just buy one,
they're fairly common. Just ask for a 1/4 phone insert cable
(basically a stereo 1/4 phone cable "Y'd" to two mono 1/4 cables).

Thanks guys. I was trying too hard.
I'll just wire the output to the compressor, and the compressor to my
interface.
Thanks.
