WaMiRack 192X using all 8 inputs

Reply from: weer1@gmx.net

I have the WaMiRack 192X.
Can this interface be configured for 8 inputs? I use Sonar 4 with the
MME-driver working. Sonar says it sees 6 inputs but the ones on the
back seem to be connected directly to the front.

Any help would be appreciated!

Marcel

No, because it has only 4 analog inputs and 2 digital inputs.

Well, four plus two equals six. The two digital inputs (actually one
stereo input) are on an RCA jack on the PCI card. The other RCA jack on
that card is a stereo digital output.

The four connectors on the front are for microphones, the for 1/4" Input
jacks on the back are for line inputs. The MIC switch on the front
selects whether the mic or line input is active. There are eight
outputs, so you can use it for 7.1 surround.
