Yes of course, Keith, it's dead simple with an Op-Amp
a handful of Cs and Rs and a couple of batteries.

It is definitely going to affect the sound if you just
"hang the meter across the line" as they used to
do in the good old days !!

I like to work with tubes, and the generic cathode follower
board which I have fits the bill perfectly.

For some unknown reason I wasn't getting the daily downloads of r.a.t.

I actually suspect that Kylie and Nicole who visit twice a week
to tend the garden, clip the hedges, mow the lawns, and clean up around
the house
and see that Rodger is OK and well fed might have been fiddling with my
PC,
and seen the kind of BS that goes on
from a female perspective, and altered something in my settings as a
kind of caring
little joke....

I did notice that they were a bit edgy these last few days
so I let them spend more time with Rodger and all is well now.
