Hey, Nate. I'm still around. I post primarily to musicians newsgroups,
pretending that I know the dif between amps, guitars, and genres of
music :)-
I'm still riding; rode all winter (not every day, but most every day).
Got to the point, however, that folks at work thought something was
wrong with me pulling up in the cold, dark winter morning with temps
between 18-20F. I explained that I was testing my cold weather gear.
Now, that's it's nice out, if I'm not on my bike, folks want to know
why. So, I'm crazy if I ride in the winter and crazy when I don't ride
on good days... go figure.
Test-sat (that's all these dealerships allow) several bikes over the
Winter... VXt1300 and VXT1800 and some large Kawa/Suz things... the
VTX1300 felt just like my 750; the VTX1800 was do'able; some fo those
other larger bikes were way too big for me. Eh, with the riding I do,
my 750 is fine; it does 80mph fine and 35mph even better.
I trust everyone here is well and safe. I still pop in and lurk now
and then, but I have so much going on at work, screwing around with
music, rooting for Chris Richardson on American Idol (his dad played
drums in my ex-band from 2001-2004), and trying not to have the
ugliest lawn in my neighborhood that I haven't been able to get over
here enough, but I plan to come back and worry the you-know-what out
of several of my "friends" here :)-
Thanks for asking! I should be back here more regularly within a week
or two.
Greg
