Someone mentioned wanting to ride this highway sometime soon... Be
advised, they are not planning on opening the highway until 01 July this
year...

Pfft... Missoula. What do they know? They're all the way over.....
there. I'm over..... here.

From the artical you posted I see no opening date, only:

"In a “normal” year, if ever there was such a thing, the west-side Sun
Road opens to Avalanche Creek in late April. Logan Pass tends to open in
late May or early June, although that date is highly variable depending
upon spring weather and snowpack."

(To answer yer question, the local news report a night or two ago)

There ya go... Although very windy and farrrrr too big for its britches,
Great Falls is quite a bit closer to the park than Missoula... :)

Yep and whilst neither the Browning or Cut Bank
papers have mentioned it with the construction
(slightly under funded imo) it's a given it will
be open

US is being widened from 10 miles west of Cut Bank
and into town. This includes the bridge leading
into town. When will it be done? Hopefully before
the tourists get to thick it could spoiler our
tourist season...I've got my tag and intend to bag
my limit.

History does not record anywhere at any time a
religion that has any rational basis. Religion is
a crutch for people not strong enough to stand up
to the unknown without help. But, like dandruff,
most people do have a religion and spend time and
money on it and seem to derive considerable
pleasure from fiddling with it.

Damn... That reminds me... My license is expired. I got my new fishing
license but forgot to add the tourist tag. Oh well, I still have a
couple months before all the Californicators start heading this way to
escape the opressive heat...
