Some people have all the fun. I'm on yet another
parts hunt...this time a 100 year old John
Browning designed shotgun.

You want an original part or are you willing to cough up serious $$ to
have a part made?

I am a cheap sob used or NOSOEM. The fun part is
how many name changes it had overthe first 30
years of construction. As for making...not many
machine shops and gunsmiths are set up to build a
feed arm spring.

History does not record anywhere at any time a
religion that has any rational basis. Religion is
a crutch for people not strong enough to stand up
to the unknown without help. But, like dandruff,
most people do have a religion and spend time and
money on it and seem to derive considerable
pleasure from fiddling with it.

If you change your mind I can hook you up with one that can but it won't
be cheap.

Problem is this one can't be used to model the new
one. It's been around since the mid 1920's and had
at various times 20-30 cases of ammo through it.
It's a nice little 16ga with the old Weaver
choke/compensator (never listed as a compensator
to my knowledge). Not often a pump gun fits like a
high dollar custom O/U or side by side. Yeah I
know never love something you might sell...this is
one of 4 things I'll never sell, come hell or high
water.

Walking through a local gun store today, I had a flashback to when I was
learning to shoot as a kid.

Walked out with a used Ruger Single Six in nice condition.

Sweet...mine was built at various time by Stevens,
Savage and after that it's murky. Was a design
Browning knocked off in the early 1900's to pay
some bills.
